formula one racing driver Ollie Bellman He has broken his silence after suffering a serious car accident in Japan that left him with a bruised knee.

Bellman, 20, crashed midway through the race in Suzuka, Japan, on Saturday. The British racer moved to the left side of the track in an attempt to overtake the driver in front, but lost control of his car, sending him onto the grass and then into the track’s barriers.
According to his racing team, Bellman was traveling at 191 mph at the time of the accident.
A safety car was deployed to the track following the incident.
Bellman crawled out of the wreckage under his own power and limped off the track.

In Saturday’s crash, Colapinto’s car appeared to be harvesting energy, while Behrmann’s car used electricity to accelerate.
The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) issued a statement after the accident saying the organization would hold a meeting in April “to assess the implementation of the new regulations and determine whether any improvements are needed.”
“Any potential adjustments, particularly related to energy management, will require careful simulation and detailed analysis,” the statement read. “The FIA ​​will continue to work closely and constructively with all stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for the sport, with safety always being a core element of the FIA’s mission.”
