Dutch mobile giant Odido says millions of customers have been affected by the data breach


Dutch mobile company Odido has confirmed that a data breach has affected millions of its customers.

The company said in a words On Thursday, unknown hackers found his client’s system to contact and secretly download reams of client information. Odido’s prophet said Dutch media that the breach affects more than 6.2 million customers, or about a third of the country’s population.

Odido said the data did not include customer records, location data, billing information, or photos of government IDs. The information does not apply to business customers, the company said.

The breach affects Odido’s customers and its own Assistant Ben NL. Both companies said their mobile, internet, and TV networks were not affected by the breach.

This is the latest in a spate of phone and telecom thefts in recent years, as governments and financial institutions continue to seek out the secrets telcos hold on their customers.
