Chuck Norris fans pay tribute to his Walk of Fame star

Their statement continued: “He lived his life with faith, purpose and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. Through his work, discipline and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and had a lasting impact on the lives of many. While our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for his life and grateful for the unforgettable moments we were privileged to share with him.”

“The love and support he received from fans around the world meant so much to him and our family is truly grateful. You were more than just fans to him, you were his friends,” Norris’ statement concluded.

Norris has had a Hollywood career spanning nearly six decades as a martial artist and star of classic action films such as missing in action, delta force and The Expendables 2. In the 1990s, he starred in more than 200 episodes of Western TV series Walker, Texas Ranger.

“My father loved so deeply and cared for everyone in his life in such a tender way,” she continued. “He may have had the exterior of a warrior, but his heart was full of love, and I’m grateful that’s something he and my mom passed on to me.”
