Stefon Diggs is best known for his role as a wide receiver for the New England Patriots and as Cardi B’s boyfriend. Diggs and Cardi have been dating since late 2024 and welcomed their first child, a son, in November 2025.
Diggs himself broke his silence on the allegations on Friday, Jan. 2, telling reporters it was an “emotional moment” and apologizing for not meeting with the media on Wednesday as he typically does during the season.
“Being surprised by some of the things that are happening,” he said. “But I want to be here to say sorry that I’m not available these days. It’s a different time.”
He continued, “It’s definitely a cold case, so I can’t even say anything about it. I’ll be open to any football question, anything you want to know. I don’t want to be rude or disruptive in any way. If anyone asks me a question about (the allegation), I’m obviously just going to show it to you. At this point, you all know me.”
