The “I’m a Slave 4 U” singer was taken into custody Wednesday at 9:28 p.m., according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Office records. Spears was taken to the hospital to have her blood alcohol level tested, then made an appointment at 3:02 a.m. Thursday and was discharged at 6:07 a.m.
“I want the world to know what a great person she is. We all make mistakes,” Philippe said on Friday. “It saddens me when she has to endure a public mistake.”
