There is zero hope for reconciliation between the former friends. Brianna “Chicken” LaPaglia and Grace O’Malley.
“We’re not friends. We’re never going to be friends again,” LaPaglia, 26, said on the Tuesday, February 17, show. “ImPaulsive” Podcast. “But there was no beef in the first place and the internet has made it worse than it was before and it’s so annoying now.”
LaPaglia explained that she and O’Malley, 27, “had a conflict” Zach Bryan. LaPaglia dating BrianThe 29-year-old didn’t get along with O’Malley a year before they split in October 2024 – but that wasn’t their only source of drama.
“There was something else going on with her, our ‘Plan Bri’ (podcast) fans were really bullying me, and I was like, ‘Grace, can you say something? Can you do something?'” LaPaglia claimed. “She said, ‘No, it’s okay. It’s okay.'” That really hurt me because I was in a really bad relationship. “
According to LaPaglia, fans considered O’Malley a bad friend during her relationship with Bryan. She further claimed that O’Malley “enjoys” being “inspired” by followers, while LaPaglia felt “weird and uncomfortable” with the whole situation.
“So, I ended the podcast before me and my ex ended everything,” she said.
The final episode of the “PlanBri Uncut” podcast starring O’Malley will be released in October 2024. Since then, LaPaglia Solo Podcast Relaunched. Subsequently, O’Malley started his own podcast “Disgraceful” in February 2025.
“Things just snowballed and spiraled. And then she was on all these podcasts saying she missed me and wanted to be friends, but then behind closed doors in New York, she wouldn’t speak to anyone I talked to,” LaPaglia said of O’Malley. “She ended the friendship. She was evil. It was very dark and strange. I never said any of that out loud.”

O’Malley previously talked about drama The match between her and LaPaglia in December 2024.
“If you know me, you know I really hate taking anything seriously, but sometimes you have to,” she shared via social media at the time. “It breaks my heart that I’ve been silent on the status of ‘PlanBri’ for months, leaving you in limbo. Bri and I’s plan was to issue a joint statement regarding the end of the podcast.”
The comedian told fans that everything was “weird and alien” to her at the time.
“(I’m) proud of everything we’ve created, nostalgic for all these years, and frankly heartbroken that this chapter is over,” she continued. “However, we agreed to issue a joint statement, so I responded, cried, and chose not to retweet or say anything when appropriate.”
O’Malley continued, talking about the end of her friendship with LaPaglia.
“Last year, I bit my tongue that I shouldn’t even have one anymore. I was willing to wait out of respect, but things don’t always work out the way you imagine. In fact, they rarely do. I definitely didn’t foresee any of this ending,” she wrote. “I don’t think I’m going to fully understand every aspect of how this happened, but I should say that while it wasn’t a mutual decision, I realized that it might actually be the right decision in the long run.”
