BBC investigates ties between Cuba and Venezuela


Cuba has close ties with Venezuela, led by Nicolás Maduro. But with Maduro stepping down after being captured in a military operation, Havana could be at risk if oil supplies collapse.

Trump said on Sunday that the United States did not need to intervene militarily in the country because Cuba was “ready to fall.”
