Great Scott! back to the future Star Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd Together again.
According to Fox, 64, via his record, the two former costars recently reunited for dinner Instagram Sunday, March 8th.
“Eating at the beach with my besties. Next year BTTF 41 years old. Great Scott. Chris will be 8️⃣8️⃣ years old. This is so serious,” the actor captioned a photo of him smiling while having dinner with Lloyd, 87.
Lloyd commented, “Man, that’s heavy,” along with a red heart emoji.

It’s been nearly 41 years since Foxx and Lloyd made movie history as Marty McFly and eccentric scientist Emmett “Doc” Brown, respectively. back to the future The film was released in July 1985 and spawned two hit sequels, released in 1989 and 1990 respectively.
Last year, Fox published his article looking back at the 40th anniversary of the iconic film best-selling memoir, future boy: Back to the future, my journey through time and space continuesrice.
In the book, Fox details how he cast Marty with another actor after production had already begun: Eric Stoltz. The part was recast during filming.
“In the early weeks of writing the book, I sent Eric Stoltz an email asking if he would be interested in talking to me about his back to the future “Eric has been silent on this issue for forty years, so I braced myself for the possibility that he would prefer to stay that way,” Fox wrote. “If your answer is ‘Fuck off and leave me alone,’ I write, ‘That’s okay too.'”
“His reply was beautifully written, beginning with: ‘Get out of here and leave me alone!’ Thankfully, it was followed by ‘I was joking…’ Eric was very thoughtful about my outreach, and although he respectfully declined to participate in the book, he seemed open to the idea of a party in New York,” Fox continued. “Even though Eric and I were in the same industry and traveled in similar circles, I had never met. At least that’s what I thought.”
Fox wrote that Stoltz visited him at his home and the two “immediately had a relaxed conversation about our careers, our families, and our own journeys into the space-time continuum.”
“He came in with a smile on his face and we quickly agreed that we had no problem with each other,” Fox said of their first meeting. “what happened back to the future We were not made to be enemies or destined rivals; we were just two dedicated actors pouring equal energy into the same character. The rest has nothing to do with us. “
The two veteran actors have maintained a correspondence since their first meeting.
“His emails are truly witty and always fun to read. It reminds us that some of the best parts of our future can come from the past,” Fox wrote. “Another gift from 1985.”
