Glover was indicted on charges of battery, fraud, wrongful eviction, malicious prosecution and intentional infliction of emotional distress, according to multiple media reports. The predecessor’s complaint also cited alleged violations of California’s Bain Act, a civil rights law.

The complaint states that Jane Doe “relyed solely on Mr. Glover’s promises of money and accommodation.” She claimed that on March 2, 2024, Glover locked her out “without any form of notice or warning” after she left her home to go to the mosque, leaving her homeless.
When Jane Doe returned home, Glover allegedly “attacked her, grabbed her by the neck and put her in a headlock, leaving visible cuts and scars on her neck.”
Glover is accused of filing a “false police report” against Jane Doe, in addition to a restraining order that caused “permanent damage” to her reputation. The woman claimed Glover He continued to “harass” her thereafter.
Jane Doe requested a jury trial to determine special and general damages as well as costs and attorneys’ fees.
Glover’s rep responded to the allegations in a statement TMZ on Wednesday, February 25, claiming, “The facts are that on March 2, 2024, Mr. Glover was the victim of an unprovoked felony assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence. Mr. Glover called the Los Angeles Police Department, who responded to the scene, investigated and arrested Jane Doe.”
The statement continued: “These facts are documented in law enforcement records and in the restraining order Mr. Glover filed against Jane Doe at the time. Mr. Glover intends to vigorously defend himself and seek all available relief. He is confident that the judicial process will reveal this lawsuit to be a baseless fabrication.”
