Australian PM heckled at Ramadan event at Sydney mosque

Community tensions and reports of anti-Semitism and Islamophobia have increased in Australia since Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October 2023, killing more than 1,200 people and taking 251 hostage. Israel’s offensive in Gaza has killed more than 72,000 Palestinians, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.
