Ashley Tisdale France has a role in a new comedy about co-parenting.
deadline report On Friday, February 27, the 40-year-old actress will star in the upcoming CBS comedy, You are only twice young. Tisdale French will also serve as an executive producer on the comedy, the outlet reported.
The series, which will be Tisdale French’s first acting role in six years, follows her character Emily and her ex-boyfriend Alex, who got married in high school after Emily became pregnant. Now that the couple’s children are grown and heading off to college, Emily and Alex (now 35) are starting a new life as recently divorced empty nesters.
Tisdale French posted a screenshot of Dtitle line article via her Instagram on Friday and captioned the post: “I told my agent I was retired and he said…well no you’re not 🤷🏼♀️”

In the post, she appealed to the group and revealed that she eventually quit the group after feeling ostracized.
While she didn’t reveal the names of the other moms involved in the group, many of her fans believe it’s a mommy group she shares with other celebrity moms, such as Meghan Trainor, Mandy Moore and Hilary Duff. (Representatives for Tisdale French denied this at the time.)

However, I could feel a growing distance between me and other members of the group and they didn’t seem to care that I wasn’t around.”
Tisdale French described parting ways with another mom, texting the group that it felt “too high school for me and I didn’t want to be a part of it anymore.”
On the Wednesday, February 25th episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Duff claims One doesn’t have to “connect a lot of dots” to figure out which moms group Tisdale French is referring to.
“I feel very sad. I feel very sad, to be honest. I’m very, very surprised and very sad,” Duff, 38, said of Tisdale French’s claims. “I have a lot of friends and I’m lucky.”
