Amy Schumer posts bikini photos without makeup after losing 50 pounds

“My mom took these photos of me as I was packing for my trip and the last photos of my trip. This year is all about self-care and self-love. No makeup. No filters,” she wrote on Carousel. “Let’s all cherish our health, our families, our friends, and have the best year of our lives. Move forward with no regrets. Only love.”

In the first photo, Schumer wore a strapless red bikini top and high-waisted matching red bottoms. She put a hand on her hip and smiled for the camera. The second photo showed her wearing a black one-piece, while a subsequent photo captured her wearing a two-piece black bikini and a two-tone spaghetti strap one-piece, which was shot from behind.

The rest of the shots in the series show the comedian wearing two dresses, loungewear and a sweater, paired with oversized sunglasses.

The post comes less than a week after Schumer shared a post. Selfie in the mirror Wearing a black Skims bodysuit, she revealed just weeks ago that she had lost 50 pounds in recent months.

In a now-deleted Instagram Story shared in December 2025, Schumer opened up about her weight loss journey, which was sparked by a desire to “survive.”

She wrote in the post, “I didn’t have Botox or fillers. Instead of losing 30 pounds, I lost 50 pounds. It did feel fun not to look hot and it was temporary. I did it to survive. I have a disease that makes your face so puffy it can kill you, but the internet caught on and the disease has gone away.”

Schumer’s post appears to refer to her February 2024 Cushing’s syndrome According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), it’s a disorder caused by the body’s chronic production of too much of the hormone cortisol. Symptoms of Cushing’s syndrome include weight gain, a round face and easy bruising, while problems include blood clots, high blood pressure and spikes in cholesterol levels, the organization’s website details.

The post continued, “I’m sorry for any of the feelings my weight loss made you feel. I’ve had plastic surgery over the years and used Mounjaro. Sorry to anyone who let you down.” (Mounjaro is a drug commonly used to treat diabetes and can also produce significant weight loss.)

Schumer also noted that her weight loss mission isn’t about her split from estranged husband Chris FisherSchumer announced the news publicly in December 2025. The pair have been married for seven years and have a son, 6-year-old Gene.

Schumer shared a since-deleted Instagram post on Dec. 12, confirming the split. “Bala blah blah blah blah and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” Schumer captioned the post alongside a throwback photo of the former couple on a New York train. “We are very much in love and will continue to focus on raising our son. We ask that people respect our privacy at this time.”
