Amy Schumer Responding to recent speculation about her marital status with the chef Chris Fisher.
Schumer, 44, and Fisher, 45, sparked split rumors last month and intensified on Sunday, Nov. 30, when the comedian posted a Selfie without wedding ring.
in a wide range of Instagram Schumer addressed questions about her marriage in a post on Monday, December 1, and clarified recent headlines about her weight loss.
“I never wear jewelry,” she wrote in a video clip shot by her 6-year-old son, Gene, who decided to record a home visit in which both his parents can be seen.
Elsewhere, Schumer wrote, “Whatever ends up happening to Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism…Fingers crossed we get through this…he’s the best.”

On the left side of the video, Schumer wrote: “If anyone has any questions about how I look, feel, or when I’m in the menopausal process, I’d be happy to share more information.”
Schumer also addressed her recent weight losssaid she lost a total of 50 pounds. “Don’t look sexy, it does feel fun and short,” she wrote.
“I do this to survive, I have a disease that makes your face so swollen it can kill you, but the internet found it and the disease has since been cleared,” train wreck the star continued, apparently referring to Cushing’s syndrome, which she first revealed she was diagnosed with in February 2024. (Cushing’s syndrome is when the body produces too much of the hormone cortisol, which can lead to swelling, high blood pressure or bone loss, according to mayo clinic.)

“I lost the weight and I’m sorry for how it made you feel. I’ve had plastic surgery over the years and I use Mounjaro. I’m sorry to anyone who has let me down. I have no pain. I can play hide and seek with my son,” she added.
Schumer previously opened up about her husband’s autism diagnosis in her 2019 comedy special, grow.
“I knew from the beginning that my husband’s brain was a little different than mine,” she said. “My husband was diagnosed with what used to be called Asperger’s. He has autism spectrum disorder. He’s on the autism spectrum. Once he was diagnosed, I realized how interesting it was because all the traits that indicated he was on the autism spectrum were the reasons why I was madly in love with him.”
During appearance in April 2022 The Ellen DeGeneres ShowSchumer said Fisher, whom she married in February 2018, was the “best partner ever” and said his autism diagnosis was like “gaining superpowers.”
“People don’t know much about autism,” she said. “They’ll say, ‘Oh, does he like to count? Should we throw a bunch of straws on the floor and will he count?'”
Schumer said Fisher’s diagnosis gave “us a lot of helpful tools,” adding, “I think it’s a good thing for people to get checked out and get tested so you don’t go through your life feeling like you’re bad or wrong… My favorite people are on this spectrum.”
