Afghan evacuees in Qatar transit camp accuse US of betrayal

The agency has not confirmed whether it will pay people returning to Afghanistan, but sources told the BBC that evacuees can receive a subsidy of $4,500 (£3,338) for the main applicant and $1,200 for each family member.
