Douyin Abby Howard is sharing her candid reaction to finding out she was pregnant two months after suffering a miscarriage.

“Shut up. Are you serious?” Matt said in the video, while Abby responded: “I don’t think it’s right. I think something’s not right. I think something’s not right.”
After Matt wonders if they need to call the doctor, Abby explains that she has questions.
“I don’t think so. I wish I was excited, but I don’t think so. I feel like something is wrong. I did this HCG test. There’s a very faint line,” she said, to which Matt responded, “If you are, that’s so exciting. If you’re not, I know we’re going to end up pregnant.”
Matt noted that the test was “99% accurate,” while Abby questioned the results.
“I don’t know,” Abby said, and Matt asked, “You don’t know how it feels?” Abby responded, “I feel like something’s wrong.”
“Telling my husband I was pregnant two months after the miscarriage,” Abby wrote on the video, which she captioned “December 2, 2025 at 7:08 AM.”

The statement continued, “That’s when we were given gender information we never expected to see, along with the news that our baby had a genetic disorder that took her life at approximately 17 weeks into her pregnancy.”
Matt and Abby noted that the news was “unimaginable” and the grief “absolutely devastating.”
“But we are so grateful for the time we spent with her. We still have hope. Hope continues to be around us in so many ways,” they concluded. “We will now mourn her and continue to find ways to honor her life offline. We welcome everyone’s thoughts and prayers. Thank you to everyone who has celebrated this precious life with us over the past 17 weeks. ❤️.”
