Aaron Rodgers broadcast A bunch of grievances in a wide-ranging conversation The Pat McAfee Show — including a dig at his family because of their long-running feud.

“I grew up in a very white, doctrinaire church, which didn’t do me any good,” Aaron explains. “It’s very rigid in its structure, and I’m not a rigid person. Shame, guilt, judgment. It’s like, ‘We have truth, our way or the highway. Our way is heaven, your way is hell.’ Even talking to my parents, it was very black and white. Like, somebody’s got to be wrong (and) somebody’s got to be right. I slowly grew out of that in high school.”

He continued, “It’s not something I aspire to or want other than playing on Sunday. It definitely changes the people in your circle because it can be intoxicating, the fame and the notoriety. So relationships definitely change after that – friendships, family.”
