As Diddy and Diddy, Combs was a superstar. Diddy has had run-ins with the law before, but nothing as serious as his 2024 arrest and subsequent federal trial and conviction.

Netflix is set December 2 premiere date Sean Combs: Reckoningall four episodes will be released that day. Jackson executive produced the documentary with the director, stacey scriptwriter. The documentary will follow Diddy’s rise in the music industry as the founder of Bad Boy Entertainment and his discovery of things like Mary J. Blige, Yodesi and Danity Kane.
The documentary will feature testimonials and interviews from Combs’ childhood friends, former colleagues, ex-employees and artists associated with him who paint a darker picture of Combs’ music career. It will also focus on the accusations against Diddy and how the latest case against him led to the collapse of the music empire he built. This was a fall from grace that occurred in full public view. But there are still plenty of details yet to be released, and the documentary team may learn more about the subject.

However, that’s the extent of the good news for Dee Dee in the trial. A jury found him guilty of transporting prostitution and Diddy was subsequently sentenced to 50 months in prisondoes not count the time already served. Barring a presidential pardon, Diddy will be living there for the near future.

This does seem personal, doesn’t it? The bad blood between the two goes back nearly two decades, when 50 Cent made explosive accusations on his 2006 diss song “The Bomb”: Didi was involved in the murder notoriously big 1997. It’s unclear if 50 Cent was actively involved in filming the documentary, or if he’s just an executive producer on the show and remains behind the scenes. Regardless, with Diddy incarcerated, 50 Cent will essentially get the final say on the show.
