Mike Winkelmann, the digital artist known as Beeple, has put me in the middle of the pack – mostly – with his viral Basel Balmi, and there is still time to see it.
His permanent project “consists of dogs wearing clothes made by blind Elckerberg, and Jeffrberg, and Jeff Bezos, next to the Andy Warhols. Robot dogs walk a pen, and capture images through chest-mounted cameras that are programmed by AI and then disappear, According to the WSJ. The printed plans are made, 256 and include QR codes that provide collectors with a free NFF, presented in bags labeled “folded samples.”
Beeple also included himself in the group itself, moving to a Charleston artist known as “balsy.” His first self-made dog, surprisingly, told a reporter.
This project also marks the second time Winkelmann has become a world-class model. 4 years ago, his digital exhibition sold at Christie’s a $69 millionhelping to fuel the nft boom which may last for a few years before it returns.
