Attached is an example of how stock dividends are distributed in cash. Are there any benefits to shareholders?
Direct answer >>> No value or benefit to the shares or shareholders
You take the profits – they are deducted from the share price – and you pay taxes on them. You will gain nothing (if the stock price does not rise)
Conclusion, my friend (The only thing in your favor is if the stock price goes up – in any case, you’re betting on the stock price going up – if you take a profit and deduct taxes from it and the stock price doesn’t go up, you won’t gain anything, but you’ll lose more (see attached figure for an example with numbers)
Some people think this is regular returns – and answer them – if you are tight on money and want regular returns, sell some shares to get profit value or cash value you need)
Good luck to everyone…………
NOTE: The attached example is on a diagram (I placed it as an image, I thought it would only appear on a phone screen, in my experience God knows best…)
