Prince Harry and Meghan Markle rename Archewell Foundation


prince harry and Meghan Markle renamed their nonprofit Archwell Foundationthe charity celebrates its fifth anniversary.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced on Friday 19 December that the Archewell Foundation will be renamed the Archewell Charitable Foundation.

“Five years ago, the Archewell Foundation was born out of a simple yet profound belief: to show up and do good,” said Co-Executive Director James Holt and Shauna Knapp say in one impact report Published on Friday. “Today, as we celebrate our fifth anniversary, that mission remains as important and urgent as ever — now realized through Archewell Philanthropies, an evolving platform designed to deepen and expand how we serve communities around the world.”

They continued, “What started as a commitment to compassion has grown into a powerful force for meaningful change, particularly in our community’s advocacy for global mental health.”

Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, first established the Archewell Foundation in 2020 after stepping down as prime ministers working member of british royal family. Through the nonprofit, the couple aims to continue the charitable work they have done as members of the royal family.

Over the years, the Archewell Foundation has supported projects and initiatives in areas such as digital security, women’s leadership and education. 2023, foundation Launch of Parent Network Support bereaved parents whose children have been harmed online, including through social media.
