XAUUSD (H1) – OANDA Friday Weekend: XAUUSD by Lana_M2 — TradingView

XAUUSD (H1) – Friday weekend

Lana is more inclined towards a correction trend in the POC area and expects a sell-off in the liquidity area 💛

quick summary
Background: On Friday, markets typically tend to take profits and clear liquidity before the week closes

Follow-up time frame: H1
Main point: Optimistic about intraday decline (correction trend)
Note: 4308 has reacted many times and is a structurally sensitive point

Market background

Weekends are typically a time when cash flow is “light” and price action tends toward profit-taking. Therefore, Lana prefers corrective measures today to gain more liquidity.

In the medium term, some large institutions still remain optimistic about gold. However, in day trading, Lana still prefers to follow the current price action and trade based on the liquidity zones.

Technology Outlook for the First Half of the Year

In the first half of the year, prices fluctuated around the accumulation zone, and the POC/VAL zone indicated that this was a long-term “round trip” zone. When price moves back into these areas, there is usually a noticeable reaction.
The 4308 area is a point worth watching because price has reacted multiple times, so it is a point that can determine whether the pullback trend continues.

Day trading scenario
Main scenario – selling in POC/VAL area (high liquidity)
Sales: 4335 – 4340

Lana prefers to wait for price to move up into this area and then sell based on corrective moves. This is a large liquidity area suitable for looking for bearish intraday reactions.

Sub-scenario – buy and sell at nearby support levels
Purchase: 4284 – 4289

This buy order is only used for scalping when the price reaches the support area and shows a rebound reaction. If the market continues to weaken, Lana won’t be a long-term hold.

meeting notes
If the price continues to reject near the resistance area and does not exceed the supply area, the pullback scenario will have more advantages.

On Fridays, Lana prefers to trade lightly, taking profits quickly and avoiding holding orders for long periods of time over the weekend.

Lana’s Notes 🌿
Every scenario is just a possibility. Lana always sets a stop loss first, chooses an appropriate size, and is prepared to ignore the order if the price does not reach the waiting area.
