Fans eager to watch next season of Netflix hit show no one wants this.
In November 2025, the streaming service confirmed that the romantic comedy series would return for a third season sometime in 2026.
“I’m so excited for season three of this show,” creator Erin Foster shared with one Statement to Netflix. “It’s an honor to be able to write about my favorite couple on such a scale. As long as my evening reality TV shows don’t take up too much time, I can write for as long as they want me to!”
show host Jenny Connor and Bruce Eric Kaplan also shared Foster’s excitement, adding that they were “extremely grateful” to be able to play another season.

How does Nobody Wants This Season 2 end?
At the end of season two, Noah and Joanne broke up, but got back together after Noah realized Joanne was the one for him. Meanwhile, Joanne concluded that she might convert to Judaism.
“We wanted to end with romance, not religion,” creator Erin Foster Tell Tudum in October 2025. “The romance is him saying, ‘I don’t care what you are, I choose you.'” We really don’t need to hear her say, ‘Oh my God, you’re not going to believe this.’ I have always been Jewish. Because we know this is going to happen. “
Foster noted that Joanne “tried so hard to see it, but she couldn’t.”
“She longed for something that would give her structure, purpose, boundaries, values and tradition,” she explains. “Judaism could give her all these things. … She enjoyed all these different things about Judaism. But she always thought God was going to come down from the sky and say, ‘Now you’re Jewish!'”
When Noah and Joanne finally get back together, Joanne’s sister Morgan (Justin Lupe), ended her relationship with Dr. Andy (Ariane Moyed) at their engagement party. Morgan’s relationship with Noah’s brother Sasha grows closer (Timothy Simmons) marriage to Esther (Jackie Tone) also touches upon major issues in the finale.
“I have Confidence in Morgan’s happy ending,” Lupe told us weekly Exclusively set to air in December 2025. “I don’t know if it’s going to be on camera, but I have faith in her that she’s going to work through her issues. I do think she’s going to get her happy ending.”

Lupe, who plays Morgan, noted that she really wanted to see her dynamic “in any way” with Simmons, who plays Sasha.
“Tim is my favorite person to act with. He’s so funny,” she gushed people October 2025. “He’s a good friend of mine, he’s become one of my best friends, and I just love being in scenes with him. I’m very hands-off with what the writers do and what they choose for these two characters, and I’m excited to see whatever iteration is.”
Romance aside, Lupe thinks it could also be “really fun” to watch Morgan and Sasha “become weird, wacky partners hanging out around town trying to be each other’s wingmen or whatever.”
“There’s so much potential. I’d be happy with anything,” she told the outlet.
