“No, no, no, no,” Conover replied. “She’s founded a lot of businesses and published three cookbooks, and I kind of look up to her in that sense.”
He added, “I think we’ll be collaborating on some things next year.”
Back in June, Cavallari opened up about her brief romance with Conover before he got serious with his ex Peggy Desorbo.
“Okay, let’s talk about it,” Cavallari said during an appearance in June. Watch live broadcast. “So, Craig and I were friends first, (and then) became romantic for two seconds. When I heard about (his relationship with) Paige, I very politely walked away from the situation.”

Cohen asked hills Are there alums where “your relationships overlap,” Cavallari responded, “There’s a picture of Craig and Paige in New York that — I’ll never forget — where it looks like they were kind of together. That was the first time anyone had met them. That was the first time I’d heard about it. I saw that picture and I texted him and said, ‘Hey, let’s just stay friends.'”
Conover and Cavallari reunited on stage in Boston in March, when he and Cavallari Austin Kroll Appearing as a guest on Cavallari’s podcast tour. The appearance was documented on E!’s June episode Honest Cavallari: Headline Tour.
“I mean, there are so many headlines about Craig, Austin and me,” she said.
“In 2021, Justin and I went to Charleston and met the kids and honestly, we just connected instantly,” Cavallari said in a confessional. “Then Craig and I started hanging out together. It was only a few times, but it became a media frenzy.”
Since Southern Charm premiered in 2013, Craig Conover’s love life, whether it’s with Bravo or another unknown relationship, has been making headlines. Later, Cavallari said, “Everyone thought we were in a fucking love triangle. I thought, how did I end up in a love triangle again as an adult?”
Kroll confirmed that “nothing happened between me and Kristen.”
“We were out on King Street together one time…and by the way, that was the first time I realized that my ‘famous’ level was (low) and Christine’s ‘famous’ level was (high),” Kroll added.
Conover and Cavallari said they started hanging out together, but Kroll “got stressed out about it.”
Cavallari said she and Conover “didn’t just kiss,” adding, “How many times have I been with Craig? I think it’s been one or two, honestly. Not that many.”
As for the overlap in his relationship with DeSorbo, Conover told Cavallari, “I’ve never lied to you about anything. Eventually, it came to a head and Paige and I decided to date and we stopped talking.”
Conover and DeSorbo split in December 2024 After three years of dating.
