News of Jesus’ death broke in February, confirmed by a GoFundMe page set up by his sister, Gris. The cause of his death was not shared through the page, but was later confirmed to be from natural causes. The Los Angeles County medical examiner revealed in June that the hairstylist died of Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia (PCP) and disseminated Cryptococcus neoformans, fungal infections that can severely affect people with weakened immune systems.

“Jesus is more than just my friend, He is a light in my life and a source of laughter, comfort, love and unwavering support,” she wrote on Instagram that same month. “I don’t know how I would have made it through the past nearly ten years without him by my side. He has a way of making even the heaviest of days feel lighter.”
Kelly continued, “Jesus, thank you for always being there for me, supporting me, and being my friend. The pain of losing you is so unbearable that I don’t know how to move on without you, but I know that only great love can produce great sadness. I love you so much. You were the best person with unparalleled talent. A true artist. You inspired so many people and you always will.”
In addition to her posts, Kelly Shared a photo of the two of them Smile. “Your words, your laughter, your kindness, your beautiful spirit will always live in my heart. I will cherish all the moments we had together. Every laugh and hug. I wish I could hug you again,” she concluded. “I lay in your bed, just as you lay in mine, and talked for hours. The post continued: “My heart breaks for Kylie and everyone who loves Jesus as much as we do. My prayers go out to his family, his loved ones and the entire beauty community who deeply feel the loss of one of the most talented and kindest people of all time!”
Meanwhile, Khloe, 41, retweeted the tribute, adding: “I’m at a loss for words this weekend but that’s how we all feel. We became a family with our amazing team and we shared so much of our lives with them.”
