On the Sunday, December 14 episode of the hit CBS series, Colt goes to help Keaton (Brent Sexton) eventually led to fatal cases. Keaton’s police friend was the first victim of the investigation, and then Keaton himself was seriously injured. As Colter drove Keaton to seek medical attention, their car veered off the road and rolled over multiple times.
“This is bad,” executive producer Elwood Reed Exclusive story US Weekly. “What we see directly in Episode 10 is horrific. Part of the puzzle is (is) Keaton dead or alive? How does Colt save himself or try to resurrect Keaton?”
Since Colt is the main character, there’s a good chance he’ll survive.

“This is ‘Stalkers,’ so I’m sure Justin will be in the rest of the episodes. But it’s just fun to mess with his body. There’s some real upside to that because he’s human. One of the things the network said early on is they don’t want to be a superhero,” he noted. “I think that’s what’s interesting about it. That’s how we go into this. What’s the closest situation we can get to, what’s the worst situation we can put him in and see if he can get out of it — if he can.”

In some ways, it’s almost claustrophobic, but there’s just something about the way Justin portrays the character. He’s able to – without too many words – bring gravity to every scene.”
With Trackers losing three of its main cast members ahead of its third season, there’s a chance new — and even some familiar faces — could be joining Justin Hartley’s show. Reid promised The best is yet to come this season. “We have some very interesting cases,” he joked. “We have some very twisty emotional elements that push Colt over the edge, leading to him returning to Echo Ridge to have a real conversation with his mother. And then, this mystery about Echo Ridge that we’ve been teasing – which may or may not bring Russell back – is going to pick up steam as we go forward.”
The writer continued: “He’s going to learn more about his past and his father. Something he’s constantly struggling with is, ‘Was my dad a good guy or a bad guy?'” Maybe both. His mom was like, ‘Is my mom a good person or a bad person?’ Or is she both? He’s on a long-term game plan to figure this out and find this out. “
