How Blue Bloods’ Andrew Terraciano Discovered Boston Blue Reinvented Him

After playing Sean Regan for 14 seasons blue blood, Andrew Terrasciano tells how he discovered His beloved characters are reimagined boston blue spin off.

“Someone called me — the day I graduated, actually — and they talked to my mom, and she called me (crying),” Terrasciano, 22, told me exclusively. US Weekly. “They said, ‘They might be looking for a different Sean.'”

“I definitely felt a lot of pressure in the beginning. I felt pressure to respect the actors in front of me because I wanted to respect Andrew as much as I could,” Amundsen recalled us November. “I even made certain visual choices in terms of my hairstyle and certain lifestyle choices (like Sean) that I wanted to keep.”

Amundsen discussed trying to pay homage to Terrasciano’s take on the character.

“I really wanted to stay as close as possible to Sean, and I did that out of respect for the character that everyone loves and the character that Andrew created,” he continued. “When I booked the show, it all happened very quickly. Within about a week, I got into it very quickly. I binge-watched as much as I could, and I found it more helpful to watch the later seasons. I wanted to understand who Sean was toward the end of the show. I really wanted to understand his character as an adult and his relationship with Danny.”

After rewatching a few episodes boston blueAmundsen found a way to celebrate Terrasciano’s performance.

“I wanted to be as respectful as possible to Andrew’s portrayal of Sean, but also add a few things to my own version. Showrunners Brandon Sonnier and Brandon Margolis were very good at giving me a lot of freedom to explore the new dynamic with Downey,” he shared. Advertisement

Terrasciano Haven’t watched the spin-off series yet Because he’s focused on his studies, but he’s interested in seeing the final product, which was recently renewed for a second season.

“I’m going to give it the time and respect it deserves,” he noted. “(But as far as coming back in some capacity) I said it to Donnie on the phone. If he said the word, I would be there. Not just blue bloods or Boston blue, but anything in life.”

Currently, Terrasciano is getting a master’s degree and looking for more opportunities in the acting field.

“I had the amazing opportunity late last spring to work in a production of Annie Baker’s The Antipodes by a dear friend, director Sabrina Carlier. Not only did I get this amazing opportunity, it was my first time in a play, but it really introduced me into the world of theater,” he explains. “It has shown me my love for all forms of performance. I recently helped produce a friend’s short film and I look forward to every acting opportunity.”

He concluded: “You acquire a passion and you can’t get away from it and continue to act and be involved in creating in any way, shape or form. I would love nothing more than to be an actor for the rest of my life. But I’m a huge Star Wars fanatic, so I’d really do anything (in that universe). And I’d love to try out for a sitcom.”
