Tracker Review: Does Justin Hartley’s Colt Save Missing Girl from Murder?

On Sunday, December 7, an episode of the hit CBS series showcased Colter A year of helping grieving mothers after her daughter disappeared from her home. The mother, who was battling alcohol addiction at the time, woke up to find her young daughter missing and blood at the scene indicating she had been injured.

The entire town turned on the mother, so when her daughter’s clothes were left on her property, she was arrested on suspicion of murder. Colter must race against time to find clues to exonerate his mother, which is how he discovers that the original detective on the case is related to the little girl’s grandfather.

final The original detective kidnapped the girlI and raised her with his wife. But once Colter spots him, the grandfather nearly kills a man trying to escape. He decided to release his safe and sound granddaughter. When the series ends, Colt is reunited with mother and daughter.

trackerPremiering in February 2024, Introducing fictional survivalist Colter As he travels across the country helping solve various missing persons cases. As Colt gets more help, the cast grows with their characters, including trainer Teddy (Robin Wiigt) and Velma, hacker Bobby (Eric Grace) and lawyer Renee (Fiona Rene).

After joining Season 1 of Trackers, Weigert’s character was canceled in the premiere, along with her wife Velma (Played by Abby McEnanyadmitting they need some distance. Velma then began working with Renee, and Teddy was never discussed again in season two.

Grace was noticeably absent from six episodes of Season 2, causing some concern. Later it was revealed that Grace and McEnany Won’t be coming back – at least for now.

“I do think it’s evolving. If I can’t evolve these characters — Randy or Renee or Bobby — they’re not just people who pick up the phone and say, ‘Okay, here’s the answer.’ That’s when the show calls,” executive producer Elwood Reed Exclusive story US Weekly in May. “The challenge is you have to understand them, and I think that’s interesting. That’s the challenge of the show, not letting it fall into a formula.”

Reed pointed out that they did not want tracker “Slumped into complacency.”

“My only rule for the show is that every week Colt comes to a new place and there’s a new case. How he gets those answers and what he uses on the team, those are up for grabs,” Reed teased. “We’re going to try to meet more of these (local) weird characters as the season goes on. Just Colt coming in and interacting with the other characters. It’s fun to see Justin flex those muscles with a really good guest cast.”

Before the start of season three, Reed defend the decision Change Season 3.

“Justin has to carry the bulk of the show. So I don’t want the other characters on the show to just call their friends and pick up the phone whenever he’s in trouble. The challenge in season three is how do we build a really good story out of that,” Reed joked.

He continued: “It’s just about building these storylines. The challenge we set for ourselves this season is to build these people’s worlds a little bit. It’s about trying to lighten[the show]a little bit because sometimes Colt does some very dark and heavy things. It’s a matter of life and death.”
