Witney Carson’s husband surprises her with party after DWTS win


Witney Carson Feeling all the love after winning dancing with the stars Season 34 with partners Robert Owen.

Carson (McAllister) My friends surprised me with a welcome home party and I felt so loved! It means a lot to me to celebrate with them. ” Witney, 32, wrote on her Instagram Story on Saturday, December 6, along with a video of her loved ones cheering for the camera.

The group stood under a silver and gold balloon arch that read “Congratulations Witney” and “Distributed WTS.” In another Instagram Story, Witney shared mini pancakes, tacos, and a Sips & Dips soda bar — which she called “all (her) favorite things.”

“Oops, Witney Carson is the winner of Season 34!” read a sign in the yard.

In another Instagram Story, Witney opened her arms to hug Carson. “He was so good to me!!! Love you so much @carson.mcallister,” she wrote.

Passed in separate post InstagramWitney shared a series of photos — including one of her and Carson posing with the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy — as well as a video of her reaction to the surprise.

“Oh my God, baby!” Witney exclaimed as her and Carson’s loved ones chanted “Witney!”

She captioned the post: “Friends and family surprised me with the sweetest welcome home celebration. I truly don’t know how I’m so lucky to be surrounded by the best people. I feel so grateful!”

Robert responded to the surprise party in the comments section. “I love this!!! Go to Witney!!!” wrote Robert, 22, of his sister Bindi Owen Adding, “Ouch!!! This is awesome❤️.”

witney crowned in season 34 Distributed WTS Winning the title last month with Robert was her second victory in the dancehall scene. (Witney previously won the top title with her partner Alfonso Ribeiro in season 19. )

Looking back on the win, Witney called the season “very special” and one she and her children will never forget. (Witney welcomed sons Leo and Jet in 2021 and 2023 respectively.)

“There are no words to describe it,” she said via Instagram in November. “This season in particular is going to be a season and a moment in my life that I will tell my kids about for the rest of their lives. It has changed me in so many ways.”

Robert, for his part, gushed that he had a lifelong friend in Witney – who he will be traveling to Australia to visit next year.

“Witney is coming to Australia,” he told and! information Witney confirmed this in November. “I am, next spring, I’ll be there. You can’t get rid of me that easily!” she said with a smile.

After the win, Witney made headlines when she shared a video on social media sharing how supportive Carson was during the season — when another text message caught fans’ attention.

“I saw it!” Witney responded. “They’re trying to get votes.”

US Weekly Witney’s representatives were contacted for comment at the time.

Following the post, Witney “took a moment to highlight each of the finalists” and their pros, including Dylan and Daniela, 32, via her Instagram Story. Witney wrote that seeing Dylan “glow and grow every week is so joyful to watch, not to mention how down to earth you are!” and added, “I’m a fan for life.”
