A black cat barely survives a stampede of wild dogs when a massive flood engulfs her home…and eventually much of the land. In order to survive, the cat discovers a floating sailboat whose only owner is a capybara. Eventually they are joined by a dog, a secretary bird, and a lemur, and together they overcome high tides, epic storms, and other wildlife dangers in an attempt to find dry land free of danger.
On paper, flow It may seem dauntingly simple, but the joy of this film is simply experiencing its gorgeous visuals and catchy soundtrack. Director Gints Zilbalodis wrote the script and composed the music, and his passion shines through every frame and musical chord. Most modern animated films, complete with celebrity voices and assembly-line pop scores, play it safe to appeal to everyone, but flow Take risks by moving at your own pace. It paid off and became an instant classic.
