Melissa Peterman Has a very out-of-the-box character positioning Joanna Garcia Swisher before her ex Reba Costa Rica joins happy place.
“One of the things I pitched to the writers was when we knew we were getting Joanna Garcia back,” Peterman, 54, exclusively told Us US Weekly. “I thought she might be the agent Gabby went to, but she kept lying to me.”

NBC confirmed in September that Swisher Will play local influencer in Knoxville Named Kenzie in the upcoming episode. According to the official character description, her character “has been hired to represent Happy’s Place’s upcoming social media marketing campaign, all to Bobby’s chagrin.”
Swisher is third Reba alum debuts Reba McEntire and Peterman’s hit sitcom, which debuts 17 years after their hit series Reba This ended the six consecutive years of operation of the World Bank. “Joanna is so busy. She’s producing, she has three movies, and she’s working on Sweet Magnolias . So, she’s a very busy lady, but she said she’s definitely going to be there,” McEntire shared in May. “Melissa Peterman, Joanna and Steve Howey have been extremely busy. Being able to have Steve on board for our Christmas episode and have Chris back – it’s been the most special.”

“We’re working on it. We really, really want Joanna to be in the show,” he told CNN and other reporters at the NBCUniversal Backlot Summer Experience event in August.
Abbott has worked on Rebastated at the time that there was no specific role in mind for Swisher.
“We’re weighing several characters to decide which one would be the most interesting for her,” he noted. “Because we don’t want to put someone on, just have them play. We want to put them on and have an interesting reason – even if it’s just for us – that they’re playing the character they’re playing. But Joanna was at the top of the list of people we wanted to guest star in.”
