Sofia Coppoladaughter Romy Mars A response to an internet query about whether she had breast augmentation surgery.
“I made a video a long time ago and I still get comments on it from people saying, ‘Oh my gosh, these are new,’ like on my boobs,” Mars, 19, said in an interview. TikTok video Uploaded on Thursday 4th December. “I responded, ‘No, they’re not,’ and everyone said, ‘We don’t believe you. She’s lying. She had breast augmentation surgery.'”
Maas added that she was “disappointed” by those who doubted her because she herself is unapologetic online.
“I feel like I’m very honest on the internet. I do share my whole life with you, but you don’t believe me about this very, very personal thing,” she continued. “I just want to say that it makes me uncomfortable for adults and teenagers, no matter what age, to say my breasts are plastic. It makes me uncomfortable. So please stop saying that.”
Mars said she has “never had a job” and “never been to a plastic surgeon” in her life.
“I just turned 19. Sometimes my breasts are big. They fluctuate,” she said. “This is what birth control pills are. This is what being 19 is. This is what having the body I have. I’m sorry.”
Mars added in the comments section, “If I get the job done I’ll let you know.”
Many Mars fans responded to the video, expressing support for her and slamming those who commented on her body.
“You’re all so used to talking about young women’s bodies in this way it’s truly disgusting,” one user wrote. “I’m sorry the haters have been teasing you, baby, don’t ever let it get to you – you’re young and it’s totally normal.”
Another added, “They just can’t deal with inherently bad people 🤷♀️.”
Romy is Coppola’s daughter Thomas Mars. The couple also welcomed daughter Cosima in 2010. When the girls were little, Coppola and the musician kept them out of the spotlight until they decided which path they wanted to take.
