In July, a jury convicted him of two traffic counts but acquitted him. Three months later, he was sentenced to 50 months, or just over four years, in prison, with five years of supervision. He was also ordered to pay a $500,000 fine.
Diddy slams the docuseries in a statement US Weekly Monday, December 1, through his spokesman.
“Netflix’s so-called ‘documentary’ is a shameful hit. Today’s General Motors Association The trailer confirms that Netflix relied on stolen footage that was never authorized for release,” the statement read. “As Netflix and C.E.O. Shakur was murdered in 1996 at the age of 25 and was signed to Death Row Records, a record label co-founded by Diddy’s rival Sugar Knight. There have been rumors for years that Diddy was responsible for Shakur’s murder. He has repeatedly and vehemently denied any involvement in Shakur’s death.
