irish influencer Niamh Cullen is opening up about life without her late husband, Jamie Gillthe following his untimely death 33 years old.
“Our home is never empty,” Cullet wrote on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, Nov. 29, in a black-and-white photo of her late husband holding a dog at home.
“I can’t even find the words to explain the unwavering support and love I have from my friends and family,” she continued.
In a previous Instagram Story, Karen shared tributes to her husband from people who knew him.
“I was so lucky to have known Jamie and so grateful to Niamh for bringing him into our lives as he left such a mark on our lives,” a family friend wrote. “The care Niamh has shown Jamie this year has been one of the deepest displays of true love I have ever seen, and while I have always been proud to call Niamh my friend, the unconditional love and respect for her this year has reached a new level.”
Hours earlier, Karen announced that her husband had passed away after a year-long battle with cancer.
“The unthinkable happened. Our worst nightmare. My beautiful husband has left us,” she wrote on Instagram. “The light of my life. I am the luckiest to be loved and adored by you, Jamie. I love you endlessly, not just now but forever.”
In addition to her tribute on social media, the “Unveiled” podcaster also shared footage of Jill standing on top of Osman and twirling her.

“This video to me shows our unconditional love, fun and laughter❤️🩹,” Karen concluded. “I’m devastated.”
The two had just said “I do” a year ago, in November 2024, just days before Jill was diagnosed with cancer.
“Last weekend was our one year wedding anniversary. Nothing could have prepared us for the journey ahead of us,” Karen wrote on Instagram to celebrate the pair’s first wedding anniversary. “On the third day of our wedding, Jamie became seriously unwell. What was supposed to be a month in Rome turned into 10 days in hospital.”
After returning to her native Ireland, doctors discovered that Jill had a malignant tumor.
“Just two weeks before Christmas, Jamie underwent major surgery and doctors discovered a cancerous tumor,” she explained at the time. “Our world was shattered in an instant, but we remained strong. Jamie bravely faced 10 rounds of chemotherapy. There were bumps along the way, but nothing could have prepared us for what would happen after the tenth round.”
After 10 rounds of chemotherapy, Jill developed pneumonia and sepsis, a dangerous and often fatal infection. That’s when the two were told his cancer had returned.
“My world feels shattered and my blood is still cold, but I know this: my husband is a fighter,” Karen wrote in an update on Nov. 14, less than two weeks after her husband’s death. “We won’t give up.”
She continued, “I don’t think I will ever be able to express the strength of Jamie throughout this entire journey. Even in the darkest of moments, his incredibly positive outlook and mindset never cease to amaze me. Seeing someone you love suffer and feel so helpless is unimaginably hard. I feel guilty every day because all I want to do is trade places or take them away, but I can’t.”
