The moment a huge fireball destroys Sydney’s waste management facility

More than 200 firefighters were called to put out a fire at a waste management facility in western Sydney, Australia, on Saturday night.

The explosion sent a chemical tank flying into the air, New South Wales Fire and Rescue reported, adding that large “fist-sized chunks of concrete” rained down on first responders.

Two firefighters suffered minor hand injuries while fighting fires in New South Wales, but no other injuries were reported.

It’s unclear what caused the fire, which is expected to continue throughout Sunday.
