Law enforcement agencies told new york post Boyd, 29, was shot in the abdomen after an argument turned violent outside Sei Less restaurant. The gunman fired two shots.

A spokesman said: “We are aware of Chris Boyd’s situation and will have no further comment at this time.” Tell ESPN.
Boyd was reportedly in and out of consciousness and was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he is currently in critical but stable condition.
Witnesses reportedly were uncooperative with police after the suspect fled the scene.
Officials said the incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made, but the suspect reportedly fled in a blue BMV.

He suffered a shoulder injury in the preseason that ended the season and has been on the team’s injured reserve list since August 18.
Following the report, the NFL community expressed support for the player on social media, including Boyd’s Jets teammates Jermaine Johnson.

The Jets did not play Sunday after losing to the New England Patriots on Thursday, Nov. 13.
It’s been a down season for the team, which sits at 2-8 and last in the division after Thursday’s loss.
The Jets lost seven in a row to start the year, winning two in a row before suffering their eighth loss on Thursday.
