She continued, “It releases in the first weeks (and) months of pregnancy, and you bleed a lot. It’s scary because you’re only bleeding early in the pregnancy.”
Arnold and her husband, Sam Cusickwelcomed daughters Sage and June in 2020 and 2023 respectively. The married couple announced on Monday, November 24, that they expecting their third child.
While Arnold admitted that bleeding is never a good sign, subchorionic hematoma “Pretty harmless” in her case.
“This has happened to me twice, on two separate occasions, and I bled quite a bit over a period of time,” she said. “Because it’s happened to me so many times, I feel very confident and comfortable with it, but you still think, ‘I thought everything was fine, but you never know.'”
According to Arnold, in the early stages of this pregnancy, concern about recurring hematomas was “the only issue” she had.
“Like I said, it’s something I’m used to because it’s happened before,” stressed the former dance professional. “Both times everything was fine (and) basically I just had to drain the clot and then everything was fine.”
Arnold further revealed that “the baby is great,” and that she and Cusick, 31, have yet to find out the gender of their baby.
“We haven’t determined the gender yet, (but) we will find,” she added. “We’ll share it with you, but we don’t know it yet. I think I’ll find out in the next two weeks. “
Arnold also explained that her feelings were similar to those she had when she was pregnant with her first daughter.
“I’m not feeling 100 percent good, but I’m not in pain either,” Arnold said. “I think the biggest symptom is that I feel tired in the afternoon. I’m really trying to stay strong and keep up with my morning workouts and get in that session. For me, mentally, it’s the best thing ever.”
She added, “Continuing to move my body throughout my pregnancy has been very, very beneficial for me. I will say, I don’t have as much energy as I did before I was pregnant. I kind of hit a wall in the afternoon and feel a little nauseous throughout the day. As long as I continue to snack throughout the day, I feel fine.”
Arnold is due in mid-June.
“We’re having a summer baby, which is fun,” she gushed on Tuesday. “June is a summer baby because her birthday is in May. I absolutely love the timing, (and) I’m so excited to talk to you all about this!”
Arnold and Cusick have been married since June 2015. trying to expand their family earlier this year.
