Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin Explain Why Borrowed Sequel Isn’t Possible

The film was inspired by Emily Griffin’s The 2005 novel of the same name, whose follow-up is titled something blue. Although the film’s premise is dramatic and pits the two women against each other (Rachel is sleeping with her best friend Darcy’s fiancé, whom she’s been pining for since law school), the actors get along well behind the scenes.

“We hit it off right away. We became friends as soon as we met. We’re both girls’ girls.
