Katherine Schwarzenegger publicly supports her cousin Tatiana Schlossberg After she revealed her terminal cancer diagnosis

Schwarzenegger, 35 Instagram Sharing a few screenshots from the article written by Schlossberg on Sunday, November 23 new yorker The article, published a day earlier, details her battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

Schwarzenegger wrote: “This is a profound essay written by my extraordinary cousin Tatiana. It has been shared by so many and should be read by all. I have nothing but tears and anger as I read that this was her reality. She went through this with such grace and I am in awe of her as a person, mother, wife, daughter, writer and warrior.” “I am and will continue to be grateful to all the doctors and nurses who helped her and encourage you to read her words and understand how the state of the country, the cuts and uncertainty, have impacted and intimidated those in the medical community like Tatiana who have been receiving treatment over the past year and a half, and continue to receive treatment. Pray for and love her and her family.”

The article comes after Schwarzenegger’s mother, Maria Shriver, Open support Schlossberg paid tribute via her own Instagram.

Tatiana Schlossberg denounced her cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s vaccine skepticism as she announced her terminal cancer diagnosis. The 35-year-old environmental journalist shared the heartbreaking news in an article for The New Yorker on Saturday, November 22, that she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and was given just one year to live. Schlossberg is caroline kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg and a cousin robert kennedy jr.. Her article states that she learned she had cancer after giving birth to her second child (a daughter) in May 2024. Schlossberg and her husband, George Moranand a 3-year-old son.

Schlossberg only had one year left to live.

Shriver is the niece of the late U.S. President John F.Kennedyshared similar praise for Schlossberg in her own online tribute. “If you can read only one book today, please take a moment to read this extraordinary piece by my cousin Caroline’s extraordinary daughter Tatiana,” Shriver, 70, wrote. “Tatiana is a beautiful writer, journalist, wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. This article tells the story of what she has been through over the past year and a half. It is an ode to all the doctors and nurses working so hard on the front lines of humanity. There is a lot, but it is best to read it yourself and be blown away by one woman’s life story.”

Shriver continued: “Let it remind you to be grateful for the life you are living today, right now, right now.”

In Schlossberg’s article, she noted that her doctors noticed an imbalance in her white blood cell count but initially attributed it to labor and delivery complications. Further investigation later determined that she actually had “a rare mutation called inversion 3.”

She recalled, “I couldn’t – couldn’t – believe they were talking about me. The day before, I was nine months pregnant and swam a mile in the pool. I wasn’t sick. I didn’t feel sick. I was actually one of the healthiest people I knew. I regularly ran five to 10 miles in Central Park.”

Schlossberg continued: “I have a son that I love most and a newborn that I need to take care of. This can’t be my life.”
