They didn’t even ask him about me.”

“I’m totally aware of my whole situation,” Bones said Saturday. “It hurts my feelings so much. I have a job and I speak out all the time. Whenever I create controversy, which I sometimes do, … I’m fine because I signed up for this.”

“It’s not just about Tom, (but) sometimes it’s about connection. I look at that and it’s the only thing I’ve ever done where I’ve purposefully worked hard and worked hard to try to make the people around me better,” he recalled. “I would help the other contestants during their photo sessions. … I help out in any way I can and then have people say, ‘We thought you were less than,’ and that’s my connection to the trophy.”
Bones continued, “There are some things that (I understand) people don’t like about me because I say this or feel this way and I go along with it. That’s the only time I’m the underdog winning and then it’s not good for me. The connection kind of skyrockets.”

“I remember saying, ‘I’ve never danced before, this sounds fun, but I’m not going to do it for four weeks,'” he said. “I don’t do anything without giving my best. There was a time … where I was so behind that I would rent a studio to myself, pick up my phone and watch practices and try to get better.”
Bones stressed that he had “never been more committed to anything” Distributed WTS — until he married his wife, Caitlin Parker2021.
“I’m very involved,” he said. “I’m proud of myself (and) I’m not as bad as people think I am. I’m not good, by the way.”
