He continued: “When they go through these difficult situations, you see them really supporting each other in a way that’s almost beyond friendship. That’s the essence of the job – partnership. Their partnership is amazing and they always have each other’s backs.”

“My dad was a fan of the show and we watched it several times. But when I auditioned, I didn’t really get into it. I knew it was based on Blue Bloods , but it all happened very quickly,” he recalled. “For about a week, I quickly got into it. I binge-watched as much as I could, and I found it more helpful to watch the later seasons. I wanted to get to the end of the show to understand who Sean was and really understand his character as an adult and his relationship with Danny.”
