lala kent is extending her support to Bravocon Fans in attendance after opening up about his recovery journey at the event.
valley The 35-year-old star shared an emotional confessional video to fans at BravoCon in Las Vegas last week via her Instagram Story Thursday, November 20th.
“I just want to say thank you for everything you’ve done. When I bought the ticket to come here, I thought I was going to celebrate a big moment for myself and my recovery, but I didn’t,” the fan said during a BravoCon panel with Andy Cohen and Jeff Lewis. “So I’m going to punish myself by wasting money and not coming.
The man went on to explain that he changed his decision not to attend BravoCon after hearing Kent talk about how her dog “saved her life” during her own battle with addiction.

“I’ve been in a similar situation and my dog used to be the only thing keeping me alive,” he continued. “So when I come here, I just want to say, you guys have done a great job of finding characters that touch us and in some cases save lives. Mine.”
Lewis, 55, reportedly responded to the emotional confession and commented that people in recovery shouldn’t attend BravoCon, something Kent addressed in her Instagram post.
“Someone sent this to me. I heard Jeff then say, ‘If you’re in recovery, you shouldn’t be at BravoCon.'” Kent wrote alongside the video. “I am recovering, & Only attend BravoCon as a recovered person. “
Kent offered his support to the fan after sharing the setbacks of his recovery and his gratitude to the Bravo star.

“Five months ago, I realized I was an alcoholic,” she explained at the time. “I’m friends with Bill (Wilson) now, and you’ll never know how much this program meant to me and gave me new life,” she added of the late Alcoholics Anonymous co-founder and his 12 steps.

“What my sobriety was like: I reached a point where I had to admit I was an alcoholic or I would lose everything,” she Shared via her Instagram Story February 2020. “The moment I admitted that I was powerless over alcohol, I knew it was time to put in the work. I started reading this big book, going to meetings, and working really hard to not go back to that drunk version of myself.”
She added, “After 30 days, I knew that I wanted to be sober forever and that it was all up to me — no one else. It was very empowering.”
