Encore is seeking the pair’s eviction and payment of $5,100 in past-due rent in September, plus $6,085 in monthly rent.

Wednesday 19th November, Thornton Arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Customs and Border Protection officers received a warrant for an active arrest warrant for an individual suspected of stealing furniture.
According to the police report, an Encore representative filed a report claiming Thornton rented a unit with a man named Jared McGriff. A representative of the landlord said that the two suddenly moved out of the apartment in the middle of the night on October 28 “without notifying anyone.”
The representative said Thornton and McGriff also removed all furniture from the unit “prior to moving in,” as well as the television on the wall.
Police took Thornton into custody without incident and transported her to the Fulton County Jail, where she was booked.
Representatives for the landlord said the furniture belonged to their client and “the tenant should not have taken it away.”
Police said they reviewed invoices for furniture and televisions worth more than $11,000.

In the video, Thornton claimed to police that McGriff had a storage key. “I just want him to put the furniture back, that’s enough,” she seemed to say. She also said she sent a message to her “roommate” asking to put it back.
“This is ridiculous,” she added.
Thornton has been held without bail and remains in jail.
Thornton became a household name as an actor Luop in season 6. she decided to leave the show after season nine earlier this year.
