Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said nine people were killed in Russian air strikes in Ukraine overnight.
He posted on Telegram that Russia launched more than 470 drones and 47 missiles in this “shameless attack.”
Three districts of Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, were hit by large-scale drone attacks, injuring more than 30 people, including children. Photos posted online showed buildings and cars on fire.
Ukraine’s Energy Ministry said power outages were affecting many areas across the country.
