Mandy Moore Got into a little mischief Macaulay Culkin When they were filming the 2004 movie, Saved!Together.
The 42-year-old actress revealed during the Wednesday, May 27 episode of Evan Ross Katz‘ Netflix show, Shut up, Evanshe drank with Culkin, 45, despite being underage at the time.
“I do remember a little bit of underage drinking,” she said. “I was like, ‘Look, I didn’t go to high school.'” I was 18. “
The teen comedy was filmed in British Columbia, Canada, where the legal drinking age is 19.
Culkin is older than many of the teen actors in the movie. Saved! The cast, which also includes Jena Malone and Eva Amuriand drinking alcohol is legal.
“I think it was Mike, Macaulay, who introduced me and all of us to a Belarusian,” Moore recalled. “I was like, ‘Milk and alcohol? This is made for me, I love this! It’s like ice cream, so good!'”
During the chat, Moore noted that while many of the actors are young, they don’t cause too much trouble together.
“I distinctly remember the sweet, innocent feeling, like we would take giant marshmallows and throw them at people on the balcony,” she said. “We were kids! We didn’t really do anything bad.”
Reflection remember Moore spoke with her co-stars on set, where she praised the filming experience and the film’s storyline.
“It was a crazy, crazy life-changing experience,” she said.

“I just loved the script and the character, and I thought it was really irreverent and funny and like a shake-up. But it also felt completely different to me and I thought, ‘Oh, this is a stretch, this is different from anything I’ve done before. So hopefully, very intentionally, this will open the door for other projects,’ like people looking at me in a different light,” Moore added.

“I’m bombarded with memories from the set. We were all staying in the same hotel when we were filming, and I just remember all the time we spent in each other’s rooms. Like, ‘Okay, today we’re all going to Jena’s room.'” Or, ‘Oh, we’re going to Eva’s room today, or Mike’s room,’ and then we made dinner, or we ordered food, and then we hung out,” she told the outlet.
The actress added, “It was like we were all 17, 18 years old, maybe some of us were a little older, but it was a really fun summer camp experience. We knew it was a very weird, special, small thing. We didn’t forget what we were doing.”
