Last call for aspiring startups

For starters, this is it. The job window closes tonight.

The most powerful startups are already in the field, and jobs always come out in the last hours. If your company has been selected but you haven’t completed your application yet, don’t risk missing out by waiting until the last minute.

And if you know the startups that deserve investor attention, media exposure, and international exposure, choose them now There is still time to apply before the deadline.

The disturbing events began in a matter of minutes

Some of the most famous companies in the history of technology were not started with the best strategies or the most money. They started by taking chances.

Dropbox was brought down to skeptics before cloud storage became mainstream. Cloudflare was founded before most people understood the architecture. Discord entered as an early stage game called Hammer & Chisel.

They all came through Startup Battlefield.

That’s because the Startup Battlefield 200 has never been about rewarding the most polished companies. It’s about identifying the most promising. The initial setup is fine. The first shot is fine. No money is perfect. What matters is that you are creating something that changes the business.

This app is your first call. And today is your last chance to make it.

More than a race

Startup Battlefield 200 is where startups come into their own.

Selected companies will present at TechCrunch Disrupt in front of 10,000+ attendees, leading companies, international media, and the wider TechCrunch audience. Founders get access to direct funding, instant exposure, and the chance to prove they are the next generation of companies that define teams.

Each selected initiative receives:

  • A three-day investment showcase at Disrupt
  • Official team members
  • Founders masterclass with top VCs and staff
  • A background in event programming
  • Journalists get the list and lead opportunities
  • Opportunities for TechCrunch presentations, podcasts, and speaking engagements as the company grows

Each selected company is present, either on the Disrupt Stage or the Pitch Showcase Stage. Both put startups in front of investors, journalists, customers, and partners who are looking for the next generation.

You don’t need to win the competition to change the way your company operates. The exposure you get from this alone can be what pushes the needle.

The track record speaks for itself

Over 1,700 startups have participated in the Startup Battle over the years. Together, they’ve raised $32 billion and produced more than 250 acquisitions, including acquisitions by Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, Uber, and Amazon.

Alumni include companies such as Dropbox, Cloudflare, Discord, Fitbit, Mint, and Trello.

Behind all these success stories was a founder ready to take their company forward before the rest of the world ends.

Who should apply?

We are looking for startups who have the ability to start from scratch, which can define teams.

Programs are open all over the world in industries. Most preferred startups are pre-Series A, although Series A companies may be eligible.

To apply, starters must have:

  • Founders with vision, action, and inspiration

Thousands of people apply every year. Only 200 have been selected. Only 20 finalists will make it to the main Disrupt Stage. One startup wins $100,000 in fair money.

The deadline is tonight at 11:59 pm PT

Founders who change industries often don’t wait until they feel completely ready. They work before they are confirmed.

If you’ve been struggling to donate, this is your last chance. The deadline closes tonight, 11:59 pm PT.

If you are creating something-explanatory – or know the basics that need to be highlighted – submit your choice and complete your task before time runs out.
