“The idea now is basically to have small wins, small successes here and there, rather than these big projects,” Abdullah said. “For example, Sindalah, a Red Sea island resort, might be a small win that they can promote, which is basically a very traditional style of resort that can still be presented as part of the vision, as opposed to resorts like The Line and The Cube. So they can say, ‘These represent the foundation of Neom and we don’t have to own the whole project’.”
