Brandi Glanville believe She may have been infected “Sexually transmitted ringworm.”
“I have a quick question. Have you ever heard of sexually transmitted ringworm?” Glanville, 53, asked the podcast guest Lisa Ann Thursday, May 21, episode her “Brandi Unfiltered” show. “I feel it…in my throat.”
Ringworm is a fungal infection that can affect the hair, skin or nails, according to the agency. CDC. It can be spread through skin-to-skin contact or sexual contact, leading to more serious infections.
“It’s one of those things that most people don’t know what to look for,” claims author and media personality Ann. “We have to train our makeup artists that when new talent comes in, they have to get naked in a well-lit window and check their bodies to see if they see any patches because it’s incredibly contagious.”
As for Glanville, she believes she contracted the infection after allegedly dating “someone in the industry.”
“He would just, you know, rub my face … because he didn’t want me to get pregnant,” she said, without revealing who she was dating. “He didn’t know that ship had sailed. I thought, ‘Well, no matter what, I’m not going to correct you. OK, honey.’ In my mouth, (then) my girlfriend told me about it yesterday. I didn’t know anything about it.”
Glanville said she had been tested multiple times to determine if she had a sexually transmitted disease in her throat and the results came back negative.
“I just heard about ringworm yesterday and they can apparently… get in, like in your throat,” the Bravo alum said. “If it’s in your throat, they go deep into your ears and so on.”
Over the years, Granville has faced multiple mysterious health issues, including facial disfigurement She blamed it on parasites.
