What really ties China and Russia together

Unlike Western countries that impose sanctions and punishment based on different values, including human rights, Russia and China do not judge each other’s behavior. Continued accusations of massive human rights abuses in China’s Xinjiang region, which China denies, and the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny have made some Western countries more cautious in engaging with these countries, but Moscow and Beijing have ignored these issues.
