Most traders only notice expansion candles.

Big Green Movement.
Breakout.
momentum.

But when expansion becomes apparent, smart money will start taking positions long before retail traders can react.

Usually, the signal is hidden within a cluster of small candles.

Therefore, the background is more important than the candle size.

A small candle following an impulsive move may reveal more than a subsequent big breakout candle. The market is basically telling you:

“Momentum has been paused, liquidity is being processed and large businesses are preparing for their next move.”

It is important not to anticipate a breakout.
It is important to note when the market moves from wild swings to controlled compression.

Because explosive movements rarely begin with chaos.

Instead, it often begins with silence.

This is why professional traders focus on:

Tight consolidation after displacement
Low Volatility Candlestick Group
Continued bearish attempt failed
Price is consolidating above the main reaction area

Once prices successfully absorb supply and maintain structure, expansion tends to occur quickly.

Expanding candles attract attention.
But the real story often begins before that.

And that little candle that most traders ignore?
Sometimes it becomes the most important candle on the chart.
