Paulina Porizkova explains why she has so few Eid matches

Porizkova, 61, opened up about her experience at Eid, where she eventually met her now-fiancé, Jeff Greensteinwhile chatting ageist magazine on Wednesday 13 May.

“Do you know how many hits I’ve had on Raya in five years?” she began. “Four.”

As for why she received so few likes, the model speculated that she was “age-restricted.”

“Men can set the age of the lady they want,” she explains. “All men think they deserve a younger woman. 55? No.”

Porizkova also opened up about the photos used on her profile, sharing that most of them were “pictures of me without makeup.”

“I was holding my finger up in front of a giant poster of me,” she added. “I think Show me as I am. The real me doesn’t always look that good. “

When she was eventually paired with Greenstein, 63, Porizkova admitted his profile was “a disaster.”

“He’s bald but hairy in all the wrong places. Horrible photos – like, on a little bike, he looks like a circus bear,” she quipped. “I thought: OK, he has a great smile. His profile was equally a disaster. He was like, ‘Introvert pretends I’m an extrovert. I’m ambidextrous.’ This guy has no idea what he wants. Nothing makes him sound attractive. It wasn’t until I scrolled all the way down that I realized he put on a Modern Lovers song. He has great taste in music. That’s what drew me to him.”

When she and Greenstein met, Greenstein admitted that he already knew who Porizkova was. She shared that she was attracted to his honesty.

“Jeff said, ‘Yeah, I know who you are. I saw posters of you growing up—you were super hot and your husband (Ric Ocasek) was in one of my favorite bands (The Cars). I’m not going to pretend.’ Someone told me the truth, whatever the truth is. That’s the difference between the Paulina of now and the Paulina of the past,” she said. “I find that very attractive. Authenticity. Truth.”

Porizkova and Greenstein announce engagement In 2023, they began a difficult romance via Instagram and got married in July 2025. They’ll be tying the knot in two months, and Porizkova says she’s taking her time about it.

“I found a relationship that felt like the relationship I should have always had at 58 years old,” she gushed. “He’s the perfect partner for me – unexpectedly. I wouldn’t say he’s my type. He’s someone I might have overlooked in the past.”

Porizkova was previously married to Ocasek from 1989 until Ocasek’s death in 2019 at the age of 75.
